JIM CARTER - Singer/Dueling Piano Player

“I believe that music is not about age, it's about passion!” These are the words of Tree Records recording artist JIM CARTER

Midwest born and raised, Jim has many years of experience in the entertainment industry as a professional Singer (Bass/Baritone), Musician (Piano & Keyboards), Actor, and Character/Voice-Over Artist.

Jim has performed as "Ron" in the national touring company of the Broadway musical "Hair", as well as at noted entertainment icons such as Radio City Music Hall (New York, NY), Walt Disney World and Universal/Orlando Resorts (Orlando, FL), and the legendary riverboat the Delta Queen (New Orleans, LA.) just to name a few.

He has worked with such name artists as Helen Reddy, Red Buttons, Jose Feliciano, Peabo Bryson, Walter Crockett, David Faustino (Bud from "Married With Children") and The Radio City "Rockettes".

Jim likes to call his style of music “New Retro”! “Hip-Hop or Alternative are great sounds but they’re not for everybody. I like to think that I was “Hip” before “Hop” was added!” Jim jokes.

“I’m a Baby Boomer and proud of it.”, he adds, “I’ve been married for over thirty years (to the same woman) and I’m the father of two, now grown, daughters who are both college graduates. And I did this as a working musician. I’m proud of that!” “Now it’s time to reach for my final goal.” Jim continues, “To be acknowledged as a national level musical performer.”

Jim is, presently, performing at Universal/Orlando's CityWalk in Pat O'Brain's (Dueling Pianos Club) and is about to star as Fats Domino in the new stage show "FATS" the Musical!
