Jim: I’ve been bouncing about this web page and finding people I knew and worked with years ago. Hell, I thought they were dead.
Noted that you play banjo and have been on the cruises for over 25 years. Now I can understand why you are doing this – you are nuts. Anyone who will play a banjo and work cruise ships for 25 years has to be nuts. I never played a banjo but I helped Pat Terry, Jr. hold a Fretted Instruments convention – I M.C.ed the shows. Then I helped him start a magazine on the same subject. You realize I was a sick man at the time. Have you ever stood in front of 100 people all with banjos and other distressing devices trying to play “You are my Sunshine?”
I worked some cruises years ago and swore that I would never work another – now I’m booked on one in October. Oh well, maybe I’ll drown on this one. If you ever get around Orlando, drop by and we’ll show you around. My wife and I go club hopping almost every night and can be found at the Red Fox Lounge in Winter Park on Thursday night. We’ll even let you visit the Musician’s Round Table for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel on Tuesday morning – 9:30am. See you down the road, Bev - b

Greetings All!
My name is Matthew Fallon. My wife, Mistia, and I are "FallonMAGIC," performing magic, illusion & aerial arts. Working the ships since 2001. Blessed to be doing what we love! Glad to be a part of this network....thank you, Paul Romhany! Looking forward to sharing and meeting you all.

My name is Dene Kellaway and I'm a lousy piano player. Had a teacher in it for the money so what I didn't want to do, I didn't have too. Hmmm... but I can sing and have an ear for sounds so I have stuck to producing recordings and writing about other more talented folks than me. Still doing it too after 40 years, hee hee, much to many people's surprise. You could say I have stickability. Yep! Sounds like me...never give up, never say die. Really if you truly LOVE what you do, it's worth doing and doing to your best ability. We are here for such a short time, every minute counts, so why waste precious minutes doing things you don't like or hate doing?
John Macdonald.. "Variety Accordion Instrumental Act "... Jim Carter here! I am a Singer/ Piano Player out of Davenport (Orlando), Florida. I've been in this biz for over forty years. I've worked as an Actor (here and in New York) and I've played and/or sung in almost every kind of band you could imagine (from Rock to Country to R&B/Funk to Vaudeville and Melodrama (sound familiar!)). I now make an okay living playing at Dueling Pianos Clubs (and I’m LOVIN’ it!). I’m still chasing the dream, meaning I’m about to release two new CD’s. The first “DAYDREAMER” will be out (with any luck at all) in mid September. The second, a yet untitled Christmas/Holiday CD, hopefully will be out by the end of October. I’m married (this year, it will be 32 years. Isn’t that some kind of record for musicians?) to a wonderful woman who, for some reason, still doesn’t mind putting up with me! And I have two incredible grown daughters. I still travel whenever possible (My passport is up to date!) and I still believe in the “brass ring” (Hey! "Baby Boomers" still buy records and CDs, don’t they?). If you ever find yourself in Orlando, around Universal/Orlando – CityWalk, stop by Pat O’Brian’s and say “Hi”!
